i will have to try this. looks great. and i used to love poptarts and now not so much but this might get me back there, and let my kids eat them too.

I think this is such a great, fun idea! I love pop tart, and I have a feeling that the homemade version will be even better! I will definitely send you my results!

I really should try this one!! I never have like pop tarts myself but the boys LOVE them.. and I try not to buy them cause I know how bad they are for them.. this will make us both happy!

you can always sub the shortening for butter- that’s probably what I’ll do!

I’m going to try to do this, although I’m not sure I’ll be able to find the right shortening here in France. Hopefully I’ll find some or find a substitute!
